About

I am an full stack software developer looking to bring my project management experience to the field of software engineering. I am eager to leverage excellent communication, strong relationship management skills, proven problem solving strategies, and technical expertise to a software team.

Software Development

I initially started doing the free online learnings and got hooked immediately on building web pages and applications. My first taught projects were in Python and then I eventually went on to learn React and some C#. Since then I have been writing code in my spare time and brainstorming ideas for apps. I currently host gaming servers via discord and have written a few apps to handle the traffic as well.

Project Management

For thirteen years I worked in telecommunications as a project manager. The few companies I worked for specialized in everything from building towers to updating them with the newest technologies that we use today such as 5G. During my tenure at these companies I became a certified BTS Engineer for T-Mobile at the highest level. These certifications are required to configure and setup radios for T-Mobile Network. BTS Engineers often write scripts for the radios to communicat with your cellular phone. They then need to be tested for each antenna from all degrees around a tower of transmission.

During my time in software development here are a few of the projects that I have done on my own time. They are organized by technology used to make the app.

JavaScript Apps _______

This is a pure javascript app I made for relaxation. You can select between beach, rain, forest, harp, tibet bowl, and lofi hip-hop. I wanted to play around with flex a bit and data manipulation through javascript.

This is a vanilla JavaScript app I made that shows the 7 day forecast. It calls from the API to get the data to display. It displays the real time as well as the geolocation in Latitude and Longitude.

React Apps _______

APIFLIX is a React app I made using TMDB.org api and using Google Firebase. It is a clone of Netflix. Each category maps through the api to show the results for that search result. All the critical data is stored on the api and not the server.

Expense It! is a front end React app I made that utilizes voice recognition, local storage, context api, and custom hooks. It is an expense tracker that has a very robust UI for desktop and mobile. User can speak or input the fields to add an income or expense to the page. User can delete transaction with voice or input as well.

Kryptokit is a React app I made with a team. The user must log in through authenicating and passing validation; they can then see coingecko api listed cryptocurrencies live. From there they can buy, sell or trade currencies in this mock app. It displays all data realtime via Coingecko API.

SimplyNStock is a React app to manage inventory across multiple locations. It uses MongoDB and Node.js. Users may add an item to the inventory by selecting the physical locaiton as well as the warehouse it would be located at.

Things to Do is a React app using useEffect and useState to allow user to create a list that maintains through reload. Once user clicks on the task as it is completed it will be strikethrough. User can then remove it by clicking the "X" next to the item!

Prattle Chat App is a React app I made using Google and Facebook Auth/IO. It does many api calls using Chat Engine as the display. User can log in with their Google or Facebook credentials via Firebase to join a customized chat program.

C# Apps _______

Aten Destroyer is a C# application I made in Visual Studio. It is a take on some of the old games of a spaceship flying across the screen destroying other spaceships.

Snake is a simple game I made of the classic game "Snake" using PyGame. I just wanted to mess around with pygame.

Led the Lightning Division across 8 locations and 65 employees including inventory/procurement management, managing accounting & payroll, facilitated hiring and training, and creation of organizational process assets and documentation
Led the planning and execution of Texas A&M Fiber install which resulted in earning 35% margin on a $300,000 project (spanning only 20 days).
Improved process inefficiencies and introduced new growth strategies that earned the company $4M revenue for year 2018 on a $2.5M budget).

Platinum Communications, Austin, TX

Quality Assurance and Project Manager

2008-2017

Managed daily operations of 10 crews including but not limited to standard ATT & TMO market upgrades.
Performed PM and CM roles for 554 sites across Texas and Oklahoma (IE. scheduling, reporting, payroll, management of various projects simultaneously, supplying both the customer and employees with necessary tools to complete projects).
Performed all ATT and TMO closeout (COP) procedures on over 500+ sites prior to company invoicing and project completion (Using Siterra, Dropbox, IPM, and NOLS to complete said projects).
Worked closely with Goodman, Ericsson, ATT, TMO, Parsons, and Nokia Siemens personnel to complete projects on time exceeding industry demand.

Servers

I host a gaming network on Discord and have my own local dedicated server that I host a myriad of servers on. I have many different games and apps running on this dedicated server PC as well as have many bots I've either written or collaborated with to make this community. A few of the games I host on my dedicated server PC can be found below. This started out as a hobby and grew to a community with hundereds of people coming together.

Ark Survival Evolved

I host 12 Ark servers with multiple bots, plugins, and mods. I have had a very steady community and following for this game. All of these servers are linked together as well. I cache the files for easier loading and all transfers to and from servers have a proxy server for holding character information.

Minecraft

I originally started this cluster of servers to learn to play around with different mods and plugins. I never played Minecraft so it took a lot of learning just for the in game setup. This server cluster uses a proxy server for players to connect due to Minecraft restrictions.

Eco

Eco is a revolving 30 day server that wipes after 30 days. It is soley used to create incoming traffic and test new mods on. This brings regular traffic into Zombie Lynx Gaming so they can see all the other services we offer.

Empyrion

Empyrion was the first server I hosted on my dedicated network. This was the first server that got me interested in mods and Mod.io. The creators of the game gave the source code to two gentlement that took the game to another level called Reforged Eden.
